Jesus dude, USE GOOGLE! As a programmer you shouldn't have to be spoon fed stuff that can easily be found through Google, or Dreamhosts FAQ pages. Use the resources available to you! Asking on a forum should really be a last resort.

I'd reccomend learning FTP, as a web designer it should just be another tool of the trade. Just go to download.com, search for FTP, sort by downloads, and pick one

Or just use FileZilla. It won't stop working after 10-30 days because you didn't pay for it.

Unfortunately you can't be sure what it will cost you after the first year at Dreamhost 🙁
There are so many budget hosts these days that is almost inconsequential (as one could simply transfer to a new host). Also, considering the nature of CasioTech's needs, in a year it may not matter.

LOL

Who knows, I may be dead, or, a light saber may cut off my hands, rendering me a useless programmer.

PSA to CasioTech: Flash is not programming.

yes it is... I use C++ in flash, and loads of it.

c++ is programming, flash is not

goto www.howstuffworks.com and read about web design, web hosting, dns, name servers, etc.

there is c++ scripting within flash, so in essence it is programming.

action script/java script, are very similar to c++, I know C++ foremost, so I can do action scripting with a breeze, that doesn't work the other way round.

For who? The domain name isn't resolving quite yet (at least, according to multiple locations at tracert.com); thus, no one will be able to access the site via the domain name.

There's really no rush.

Very true, and thus ActionScript is NOTHING like C++.

At the end of the day, flash isn't programming, no matter how you try and justify it, as well, just about 99.9% of flash is absolutely uselss and utter garbage that uses 70% of CPU cycles.

OMFG!!! I took almost the same scripts I made in C++ and applied them in flash seemlessly, with a few alterations between compilers.
