Ross isn't confused; he's restating to make a point. Many webhosts cost right around $10 as well, but they're per month not per year. By going with this per-year option, you're paying like 1/12th of what you would typically pay for similar services.

PHP is a good place to start, and it'll get you started on a road to other programming languages.

Actually, I started out w/ basic, (yes, QBASIC) so that might be a good place to begin.

The important thing to understand is that Flash is a vector based program. HTML is a graphic based programing language.

Flash is more than just a program, HTML is a markup languauge, and if you're compotent, it's CSS centric and not really 'graphics based.'

goto www.howstuffworks.com and read about web design, web hosting, dns, name servers, etc.
