Yeah, Atlanta's still got quite a few of them around that don't seem to be going anywhere anytime soon. Maybe some of the metro area is cracking down a bit, but not the city itself. Not that I've seen, anyways.

And yeah, sometimes the girls will come over to just sit and talk for a bit if they're not doing anything at the moment. There's of course some self-interest (i.e. so you're more familiar with them, and are therefore more likely to tip once they're dancing), but just like anyone else, they also get bored.

Usually this happens if you (or someone you're sitting with) has already either tipped them, or is looking to be a big tipper, but sometimes they'll just go for random people as well.
