Gentlemen's club n00b question about talking to the talent.

So I went to a Gentlemen's club with my friend. It's one of those places where they serve alcohol so it's not full nude, but on the up side there is no cover to get in.

so its getting time for us to leave but my friend gets a lap dance before we go so I'm sitting there finishing by beer. One of the ladies comes over and sits next to me, she's got her night gown thing on over her stage and soliciting dance "outfit".

She introduces herself and asks for my name, It took 2 tries to hear her name because the music is loud (they're loud at just about every one I've been in). After that I'm just looking around and she sits there quitely. About two minutes later I feel kinda weird so I bought her a water and we sit there for 3 more minutes in silence until my friend comes back and we leave. She says goodbye to me which was nice of her.

I've been to these clubs maybe 5 times before and never had one of the talent try to talk to me unless it was for a "dance" but they usually ask with in 30 seconds or the longest was 2 minutes, but it was a slow night.

1. Was she expecting me to talk to her? Whats the deal with the talent that does that, beacuse I see the other ladies just hanging out with the guests too. Building a client base?

2. How do I make her go away without being an ass, I just want to finish my drink and look at "stuff", NOT scream in the ear of strange women.

They are people too. Some of them just like to chat and will often do so without any money involved.

If you want her to go away just kindly say you are just waiting for your friend before you guys leave.

1. Some girls are not pushy for dances, they may want to sit down and take a break.
2. I usuallyy say "I am just hang out for now, nice to meet you" whenever a dancer stops by and I don't want a dance from her for whatever reason.

I think I was tipping the normal amount, $1 for every girl that came by except $2 for a girl that was really working it and stayed there for just about minute.

I did tip a girl an extra $5 after the lapdance because she was really working for it. The funniest thing was 2 minutes afterwards this different girl was really trying to get me to dance with her. She even said she was going to give me a "Special" Russian dance. I turned her down, I'm not as lap dance guy.

Why would the talent talk to a guy who wasn't tipping enough?

She sat in the chair next to me not on my lap, I was right up against the the bar anyway.

eh, if I can see "stuff" for a dollar and "even more stuff" for a dollar at places with cover then it's a dollar well spent.

It's the regulars I feel bad for. There was this guy who looked like a typical loser and the girls were all over him trying to get him to dance with him he probably goes there often for the attention.

In illinois you can have alchohol and have full nudity. There is even a place about 4 miles from here where they let you bring your own hard alchohol.

It really depends on the girl. Some of them are trying just to get more money out of you but I've had girls sit down to talk with myself and my friends and the talk was just casual talk no money involved.

No, I don't like going to the same place twice if I've already seen all the girls already. But if I do I'll wait a few months for them to get new girls or if my friends really really want to go to a specific club. Considering that I'm almost 26 and I've been to these places a total of 5 times (including the 2 I went to for my friend's bachelor party), I don't consider myself a frequent club guest.

To tell the truth I'm more interested in the layout of the place then the girls there (unless they really work the dance pole, most girls I've seen don't even do the moves). I guess I'm looking for a place thats exactly like the Nudie Bar from Married with Children where they dance right on the table.

They have places like that in NJ too. But they charge cover to get in, some places just sell water, soda, and juice. Its just the places that sell alcohol that are free to get in, but drinks are like $6-7.

I've never been to a club where they didn't talk to you. In some cases they'll hang out for an hour or more, have drinks, etc.

IMO, the better clubs are where it's more of a club where women just happen to be running around naked . It's more of a place where both men and women go to have a good time and not so much about seeing naked women. In these cases you often get a lot of women that hang out and have a good time.

georgia just shut most of them down? atlanta has always been and still is the (full nude) strip club capitol of the southeast.

There was a girl working at Fritz's Too in Anaheim, CA, that would climb the pole to the ceiling (like a 20ft ceiling) and do her thing up there. Seriously impressive. She always got a 10'er from me.

Dancers do just like to come sit and visit sometimes. Especially on slow nights. Most of 'em are just girls. There are (obviously) some predators, but most just treat it as a job.

I live in Northern NJ and I know of 5 places that within a 10 minute drive, 3 of them are not full nude.

I went there to see stuff not scream in the ear of strippers. If you want to have a BS conversation with a stripper go ahead, but its just a waste of time.

Sounds like the girl was just working the crowd, talking to you with hopes that you would buy a lap dance or some time in the private room. I'm the same way as you OP, I'll toss a dollar or two for each girl and maybe get one lap dance but I don't really want to talk to the strippers.
