512 megs 2700 DDR ram. Is Generic "pre-tested Lifetime Warranty" ram worth it? Or should I dish out $20 more and get the good kind?

Also, it's "medium density", rather than low.

What do you think?

I'd get the Generic if you don't wanna O/C
it works fine if you're running stock speeds.

Just make sure it's from someplace that will accept a return if it fails at any point in the future, or that the company that makes it actually might be around when "lifetime warranty" becomes an issue, and make sure of any fees you might be charged. A few bucks more for a reputable company can be worth it; even the best brands fail sometimes.
