Hey guys, I've been having a problem with Zero Hour. After I've been playin the game for awhile (it seems as soon as I'm about to win) the game just exits and it says a serious error has occurred. I don't have this problem with any other game. My system is a little overclocked but it's completely memtest and prime95 stable. I don't think it's a heat problem either, my cpu runs at 39 C idle, 45 C full load. I have four case fans, so airflow in the case is good. I've checked other forums and it appears that a lot of other people have the same problem but nobody has any clue what to do about it. Any suggestions?

If you go to the EA Games forums, you'll see that there are many others who have this problem. Do you get serious errors with Generals (standard)? I got those problems with the original Generals. Updating my BIOS did the trick.

When overclocking, it is always a good idea to find a stable vcore that passes all major tests and then up it one more notch (.025v) to ensure stability. I've seen plenty of general protection faults, random errors, and random exits to desktops while gaming occur because several people fail to do this. Even if your computer seems stable in one area, or even most, it doesn't mean that it is rock solid.

I've never had this problem with the original Generals. I've also recently updated my Bios to the most recent version. It's frustrating, but thanks for your input, guys.

Have you patched Zero Hour? I think there was a patch available for it that tried to correct some of thses problems.
