General Tso sauce

Anyone make dishes with General Tso sauce at home? I bought a bottle of sauce from the grocery store and used it on some stir fry'd chicken and broccoli; it was ok but a bit pricy (6.99 for a little bottle that seems to make 2 meals).

I was looking for a bulk jug of the stuff online, anyone try this? http://www.amazon.com/Minors-Sauce-G...eneral+Tso%27s

Any recommendations on a good ready to use sauce?

For convenience mostly, I dont know how much trouble it is to make it from scratch, but when I'm cooking for myself after getting home from work i would rather be able to have a decent dinner ready in < 10 minutes.

I don't know anything about it, but a lot of sauces you can make in a large batch, put in serving size containers, and freeze it. Take it out as necessary.

I have been trying to find a good recipe for it... The stuff you buy in the grocery store is close but definitely not the same.
I would love to know what the fuck they do to make it soo good.
