General Timings question

My Kingston HyperX is rated 2-3-2-6.

My motherboard (IC7) detects as 8-2.5-3-3. I manually changed them to 6-2-3-3, but I can't figure out which of the 3's to change to 2 because I can't find HyperX timings labelled anywhere. Which is RAStoCAS and which is RASPrecharge?

My mobo lists them in this order:
CAS (2)
Act to Precharge (6)
RAS to CAS (?)
RAS Precharge (?)

Thanks!

I believe the standard way of presenting memory is: CAS latency - tRCD (RAS to CAS delay) - tRP (RAS Precharge) - tRAS (Active to Precharge). So, in your case, it should be CAS (2), tRAS (6), tRCD (3) and tRAS (2). That works for me and my Corsair 3200LL, at any rate (same settings).

Thanks... I find it really odd that my memory wasn't more specifically labelled. Especially considering how often memory is mis-detected.
