General New Build Advice Needed

With the C2D price drops, I'm feeling the itch to build a new system. I only game on 1280x1024, so I was thinking of getting a C2D E6600 paired with an 8800 GTS 320MB.

I've been out of the loop for a while, so what are recommendations for RAM and a Mobo for that setup? I won't be doing any overclocking. Also, any PSU recs? I'm a fan of the modular designs.
