I would consider myself an 6/10 when it comes to computers and knowing about them but lately I've had interest in learning about the processors, etc so I can better understand what I'm buying to find the better deals without having to come here everytime I have questions.

Are there any blogs or websites that teach this to people like myself? Any advice without taking IT and computer classes 🙂 ?

Seriously, look around some of the major CPU benchmark pages here at AT. They tend to go into a good amount of detail about how the architecture works each time something new comes out.
