general help

my parents bought a computer which is a amd fx-53 with sk8v mobo and ocz ram...yea they went all out...i know this computer is fast..but it feels like im not getting the most of it...can anyone help me maybe change some bios settings or something to see that im getting the most out of my pc...thx for the help

Is it not what you want @ stock?? What would you like to improve? What is your primary use for this pc? (gaming/media/editing/CAD? )

All my neophite freinds are like this.. Some on boot are using 600meg of ram just in OS and AOL and they only have 256 or 128. Thank god I know nothing about computers when they ask😉

First thing you need to do is go to asus website and get a new bios. Update.

After you get that Bios, select "Load optimzed defaults." answer yes/ F10 Yes exit/

I could go though the bios step by step with you but first try that.
