I thought I was in the other thread that was on about abortions... and... the point is.... As a Christian and a Citizen I find it easy to say it is ok to legislate abortions as long as I am free to believe as I do... for anyone to force ME to act contrary to my belief is repugnant... how you view it should be for you to decide and your view should not extend to your neighbors farm...

That's nice, really. I still fail to see the point. You thought you were in another thread, even acknowledged the contrary, put posted that response anyway? I suppose I just don't get it, here I was reinforcing Moonie's stereotype that us Republicans just don't care and you go off on abortion.......

Put down the bottle Lunar, it's far to early in the morning over there.........

What happened to analytical thinking. The phone call purports to suggest blaming Iraq a few hours after the attack when no evidence was in. What the hell is this crap about contingency plans. Did he get a call to smear Iran, Syria, the North Korea or a million other places for which we have contingency plans. The implication is obvious, no. If the call happened and if it came out of the White House, and if it was with instructions from the WH to be made, the contingency plans were to blame Iraq. Those contingency plans are known; they are called PNAC. That, of course is why this should and won't be investigated except perhaps by some Democrat.

Corn, who said anything about Republicans eating babies. I was referring you your own exceptionally gifted snideness and not so subtle ridicule. The cross I bare is that the deeper you can see into another's soul, the greater the temptation to use that knowledge to hurt. It's why I'm forced to love you, and you me.

Moon, who called him and is there any evidence a call was actually made? Is there a tape to prove this was relayed to him?

I didn't take or make the call nor do I have access to telephone logs to know if one were made. Why do you ask?

so just as the claims that Bush lied or Gore won, there is no actual evidence of this phone call.....

I think I did Moonie.

I was referring you your own exceptionally gifted snideness and not so subtle ridicule.

Of course you were Moonie, I wouldn't be a good Republican without these qualities. Think of me as a mirror, not a window, into your own soul. I am the same, yet inverse, as you. You're subtle in your snideness and ridicule, I'm more honest in portraying mine.

CORNtip?: Mini-you is too close a resemblence for comfort. Understandably the two of you would have much in common, as that is something that would aid in maintaining a kinship......but I keep getting this overwhelming feeling that he's mimmicking your posts, right down the to the (way he replies to the quotes of others). I know you think Bush is a disaster, but it's like you've invited your old chum here because you need the help or something. It's like tag team Moonies, maybe I should invite a few of my offline buddies over here, except that I have a life outside of this forum and would rather keep it seperate from this forum. Besides, I'm not that desperate...........

I cut out the rest of your post and quoted what I thought you may be trying to say is the pertinent point. As you so aptly put, the rest is just getting off the track.

Okay, deal with the message. I did. The message is meaningless. It lacks substance. There may be something there, there may not. Without detail, we are only left with hypothetical ponderings. In context or out of context, it means zip, zero, nada.

The only thing I am left wondering is why Clark would have said that. I stated my opinion as to his motives and that's, that. You have your opinion and I'm assuming that's sufficient for you. If not, you have a plethora of other opinions already stated here to consider.

Wow, three "if"'s in the same sentence..........yeah, the press definately missed the boat on this one. This story is as tight as it is damning.

OK... I can't debate an issue that is without proof if proof is what will allow the calls in... I'll try again when he goes before congress or talks again on the subject.. Have a pleasant day..:)

I'm with shinerburke on this one.

Clark totally screwed up the call on the invasion of Iraq and now were expected to treat his word as gospel.

baloney!

Shouldn't it be, " I wouldn't be what I consider a good Republican..." because XXXXX are all "Republicans" but do not posess the snideness, the desire nor ability to ridicule another... (I used "XXXXX" so you can respond and not attack "x" or "X")

I thought I answered your query in another thread... we are the ghosts of Ireland's past... visiting upon each that which each spew forth on others. Are you really bothered by my presence.... maybe we are what we are and are immune to the venom of the snake... you can always tell us apart... I wear a bag over my clown head... Mom said he was prettier and It hurt my feelings.. (I also use ellipsis all the time) Feel free to assume what you will.... the eerie sound you hear... is you!

... and since I visit here infrequently (to many of your reliefs, I'm sure), just a comment/observation-

Moonbeam, don't you have a life?

What a pathetic life you must have to put such effort in a futile attempt to sway total strangers to your naive view of the word.

Go see a psychiatrist or plastic surgeon if you're too afraid to go outside and observe the real world

Are you really bothered by my presence....

Not at all. The more the merrier, really. I just find it somewhat peculiar that you've chosen to mimmick Moonbeam's mannerisms. It's like you're trying to be just like him. I find that when I'm reading your posts, it feels like I'm reading Moonie's posts instead.

As I related earlier, we do tend to choose friends who are likeminded........but the two of you go beyond that, it's like you are of the same mind, right down to your communication style.......with the only minor difference being your creative use of the "." to denote pauses (strikingly similar to those used by another very highly intelligent forum member (whom my superior humility does not allow me to identify :D) has an affinity for).

Anyway, it was just a suggestion, if you like being known as mini-Moonie, go ahead and keep up the act........

By your leave then.... If I am a micro mini Moonie, then I am more then enough to please me... and I've the highest of standards..
I would never question your intellegence.. nor your motive... just your observation of your reflected words..;)

Sigh

Plug your ears, cover your eyes, and march to your destruction.

If you guys had half as much demands for Bush to provide "proof", we'd be in a much better situation. Unfortunetly, you demand Proof of anyone who questions Bush or suggests shenanigans. Bush can state whatever he wants, be wrong repeatedly, and repeat what has been proven wrong, yet you will still take his word for things.

Can't argue with Double Standards.

Oh lucky me, I have so many different reflections, some flattering, some not.

I'm more honest in portraying mine.

Ah yes, what is known as brutally honest. :D Ask yourself why. A dog, Corn, trapped in a corner in fear, will bite at any hand that comes near. 'You may be a one eyed Jack dad, but I seen the other side of your face.' You can't bite the hand of a man who has no arms.

Only love can break your heart, only love can mend it again.

Sandorski, I believe, but am not sure, that it is known that Bush knew the Niger Nuke connection with Saddam was a false at the time he used it, so that would be proof that he lied.

PS, and Lunar, don't take Corn too seriously. I was unfairly playing one of his known weaknesses. He tends to blow it badly when I quote Generals.
