I'll never forget the first time I saw Mel Brooks The Producers. Zero Mustel and Gene Wilder were so friggin funny and the movie was so outrageous for the time. Then he went on to Blazzing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory.

I knew I had not seen him around for quite a while. Sadly, his death from Alzheimer's explains his absence.

RIP Gene, Gilda's been waiting along time.

Oh yeah. Forgot the link. http://www.nbcnews.com/pop-culture/...oung-frankenstein-willy-wonka-dies-83-n639561

My parents took me to the theater to see Silver Streak, I was already a fan due to Willy Wonka, but that solidified it. Gonna do a GW marathon, Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, The Producers, Silver Streak, Stir Crazy, Willy Wonka....:(

Oh yeah, I forgot about him teaming up with Richard Prior in Stir Crazy. That is also a funny movie.

One of my favorite actors of all time, this is awful news. :(

Damnit I'm so mad right now.

RIP Gene. You will be missed but not forgotten.
