I think males are more dominant (duh!). Dominant: "Exercising the most influence or control." Just look around you. Men have the most influence or control. It's a sad but true fact. But I don't think that's what you meant by this thread. Don't you mean which sex is "better"? In that case, I think they're equal.
Sexual equality is good, but in the rush for "equality", I think it is getting too far towards the other end of the spectrum.
Example:
I'm an engr. co-op student at university, so every 4 months I submit my resume to numerous companies, and am then given interviews to find out where my next job will be. Well, when the interview lists for each job is posted, I often see an even number of males and females being interviewed. This makes absolutely NO SENSE. All you engr. students know that only about 10-20% of your classmates are female. So, one would expect that 10-20% of students selected for an interview would be female, right? Nope. Companies want to have an even mix of male/female, so females are given jobs over males that could quite possibly be more qualified.
I don't regret being born male, and I hope women don't regret being born female. Each sex has its own benefits, and I think it's perfect that way. Being a woman usually makes it easier for you to get out of trouble, and get what you want. But then again, men don't have to give birth or have periods, and can usually get to positions of power (CEO, President) easier.
I HOPE in the next 20 years that it is completely equal; however, I wish companies/government would get away from hiring for equality and more towards who would be the best person for the job.
Just my $.02.
