The 3in1 bundle is tempting me..

3 IN 1 BUNDLE (SY-K7VMP2, Sempron 2600+, GeIL 512 PC3200 DDR SDRAM)

Special price: $144.99

it is coming to $150 shipped.

I have a $84 2500+ combo on back order at outpost,,I'm thinking I should cancel that and go with this....

Why? You can buy a gig of Kingmax PC3200 for another $7X AR for that combo and have twice as much memory for a few dollars more.

The stuff at outpost has been on back order for a week now...I have a feeling that it is going to be cancelled..

GeIL is supposed to be pretty good is'nt it??

I rationalized it this way :p

Thru newegg,

Same processor = $78

Cheap KM400 board = $30

Kingmax deal= $73 after rebate

Total =$181

The system it is going to go in, is going to be used as an extra box if someone comes over, or be sold as an internet box.

So it doesn?t need the extra ram,and it would end up costing $30 less.

I pulled the trigger on a whim, figured that I could always sell it local and break even..

But now I realize that I failed to take in account that soyo seems to have a bad reputation in customer support.

If it all works, I think it will be a warm deal

I had trouble with my Soyo MB, and e-mailed Soyo Tech Support for help twice in the last three weeks. Cannot get them to even respond to my e-mail. IMO Soyo totally sucks in every area of their company. They want to sell you, but then it's "customer be damned". I will never buy from them again no matter how great the deal.

Doesnt matter when their business practices are the way they are, Dont ever try to get your money back on a rebate through them and from what I hear their support is just as bad.
