Geico Commercial

Geckos do not blink or have eylids. Then again, Geico takes most of us as idiots and never think we'll notice.
Maybe I'm looking too much into this but I knew this about geckos when I was 10 (22 years ago)

Uh, lol..

Geckos also don't talk, or do commercials.

He blinks on purpose; it personifies him and adds character.

I haven't seen any upright biped geckos running around blinking or non blinking.

What about a gecko driving a miniturized red sports car jamming to classic rock? Because I am SURE I have seen that.

CorCentral, were you one of those heartbroken children of the 80s whose birthdays were ruined when they learned that the cards in the "Guess Who" game didn't actually talk from superimposed cartoon mouths?

You should write them a letter about it. Maybe they will make a commercial with you apologizing like they did with the cavemen.

SOME Geckos DO have eyelids. My leopard gecko has eyelids. Look up Leopard Gecko and you will see that it, along with it's whole family of EYELID geckos, do indeed have eyelids.
