I just got a XFX GeforceFX 5700 Lazy Edition, and the install went fine. I installed the drivers with no problem, and all was fine. I have the 3D text screen saver, which worked fine. However, when i came back to the comp the next morning, instead of the screen saver, it says "Could not find compatible Direct 3D device". I reinstalled the driver and it fixed this problem. I left for a few hours, and when i came back, it is back to the same message. Advice?
 
I haven't played any games yet, just got the card yesterday. Other problems i've noticed:

Winamp: Shows as a black square, EQ of winamp displays fine, playlist displays fine but without the border around it.

Word: Does not display the very top bar, that says "Microsoft Word" on the left, and has the minimize, maximize, and close buttons. These buttons appear if you mouse over where they should be.

Right now i'm DL'ing (modem, sigh) The newest driver package from Nvidia. When thats done, i'll reinstall DirectX. Any other ideas?
