Does the GeForce 7900 GTX support FULL native HDCP? and I mean ready to play Blue-ray and HD-DVD movies

The GPU supports it but it's up to the card manufactures to implement it.

So, yes and no would be the answer.

hmmm, that is an interesting review, but from what i heard, the card needs to have a chip with the encryption key encoded inside in order for it to be able to play hdcp content with full resolution

in which, no cards have it right now other than the sapphire x1600 pro

And not even all versions of the X1600 pro do. It's about time everyone implemented it.

Wrong..to an extent. Sony has prebuilt media centers with cards that support HDCP. But in contrast:

After some investigation, Brandon and I determined that there is no shipping retail add-in board with HDCP decoding keys. Simply put, none of the AGP or PCI-E graphics cards that you can buy today support HDCP.

Meaning that they don't not exist, they just arn't avalible on the open market.

Der....code path changes in the drivers = DX10 support (if MS would get off it's ass and solidify, anyway).

Built for Vista doesn't have to mean HDCP, genius.

yes but that article was written a month ago, I still would like to now for sure if the GeForce 7900 support HDCP or not?
