To tell the truth, I don't believe neither the scores, nor the 'GF5' name. I think I read somewhere it wouldn't be called another variation of the 'GeForce'.

:)

I was just thinking about something. Remember back in 486 days, if you upgradeded you system, many games that were designed for the slower 486 would play so fast that it made them unplayable?

Imagine what this fake card would do...the game would be over in like 3 seconds. :)

How do you like that Pentium 6 at over 4.5Ghz? The picture, on the other hand, is very convincing...check the lighting and the reflections on the card.... But geez, that card is huge!

It's obviously a fake.
Just read Kyle's comments, he's merely mocking all the sites that announced the faked R8500 Maxx.

Apart from the warped PCB, and bizarre fore-ground HS positioning and excessive reflections used it's a fairly decent fake though.

One look at the PCB substrate immediately reveals it's not even remotely passable as genuine though, and I'm sure that was intentional.
Judging by Kyle comments, I think it's pretty clear he was merely mocking the R8500 Maxx fakes.

So Abit is making the reference boards for NVidia now, complete with Abit Siluro heatsinks? ;)

Would have been nice to see some 3dmark screenshots...Might have been some minor photoshop effort there.
Instead we get the lovely HTML editing of the madonion results page :p

Anyone see my AOL Instant Away Message program? It's amazing what stupid things anyone can make when bored :)

That motion blurred pic is a good fake?

I'm pretty sure its not even a video card, but is instead a PC on a card to put in a Mac or something.

You think NVidia would make a board design that has zero chance of being OEMed since most of the OEM cases nowadays don't even have full length slots?

No matter how powerful a video card is, it would never do such a thing in a proper game.

Yeah, of course not with today's games. I was reffering to old 386-486 era games like Police Quest that if you had a machine with specs too high than the game was intended for it would be unplayable.

In Police Quest for instance, your cop car would shoot around the streets at around 430 MPH if you threw a Pentium in there. :)
