Not all that hot, after tax and rebate hassles I'd consider a newegg purchase (running 115$ shipped on up), though the card does sport 500mhz memory and tv out from their web site which is above average, and the famous lifetime warranty (lifetime of who? this unknown maddog company?)

I've never, EVER run into a problem with nVidia video cards from "no-name" brands. The rebate concern may be valid, but I wouldn't question the integrity of the card itself.

i bought a mad dog dvd a few months back. it has a $20 and a $10 rebate on it. got the rebates in 2 months.

the rebates mail to the same place, l ike for these special promos you just put both inthe same envelope as maddog probably only has one rebate normally. the drive was an artec so mad dog probably just rebadges stuff.

no name stuff isnt necesarrily bad. you just take the PCB reference design and put it into a solder machine with the right parts binned. so for the most part since they use the same reference design files then they should be just like any "big name".

I've had bad luck with CompUSA rebates in the past.. just FYI. $99 is actually a pretty decent price to pay for a ti4200 and certainly worth it if you have a voodoo3 or tnt2 still.
