geforce4 slow boot problem *RESOLVED*

Put an MX440 into my dads machine. XPw/SP2, installed latest nforce2 chipset drivers, latest nvidia drivers....and XP goes into desktop on bootup and hangs for about 15-20secs before allowing me to do anything. Tried everything I could think of.(uninstall/reinstall, revert back to manufacturers drivers, etc....) ........still exists! Anyone with ideas? Thx.

I don't do winXP so I can't help ya (as it sounds like the problem), but here's a free bump for you.

You might list some specs too (like an if it's anForce mobo with IG). I assume it was previously working fine and that the only change was to install the new gfx card?
