GeForce4 MX 440 - Need help for picture quality while using tv-out to play DVDs on my TV

Hi all,

I recently purchased a Prolink GeForce4 MX440 and I connected my card's tv-out to my TV using an S-Video connector (PC) to SCART (TV).

While the picture is ok and colors seem good too, I get something like a "moire" pattern on the tv screen.
It seems like a frequency issue but I can't be sure. From the card's advanced setup options I can't change the frequency output (it's at 60hz) and I tried running it at all possible resolutions and color depths (from 640x400@ 256 to 1024x768 @32bit).

I also tried different tv formats (PAL and NTSC) still to no result. I'm located in Athens, Greece and our tv system is PAL-G.
Although I can see my DVDs, it gets tiring to watch with all these lines flickering on the screen.

Does anyone know a fix for this?

Thanx a bunch.

Most TV have 60Hz refresh rate. Forcing your TV to run at higher refresh rate may damage it unless ya got some of the latest TV from Samsung that has refresh rate at 100Hz.
