I am looking to get a Geforece3 and am wondering which card to get. I have read that the Leadtek's have decent cooling, the Visiontek's are pretty cheap, the Hercules would be good but is a bit more than most 3's, any suggestions? I would like to have price a factor, and spend up to and around $400.
 
Love my VisionTek GF3. You can pick one for about $340. Also, Buy.com has the Elsa Gladiac 920 GF3 (built by VisionTek) for about $331 shipped (gotta use a coupon with free shipping good till ?), comes with the GF3 enhanced version of Giants.
 
haha if you get a herc gf3 then you can name your price for a rare card.

but the Visiontek or Elsa be good i got a VT and it rocks
 
I stoppped by Fry's Electronics today and was surprised that they carry Hercules 3D Prophet III cards. Might wantto take a look.

Depending on prices, you might want to check out the ASUS v8200. if it's anything like the ASUS v7700, you're in for a treat; it has great OC potential and more bells and whistles than other brands, and is very stable.

I put in my asus 8200 pure in today.much better 2d quality than my cl gf2 and a hole lot faster.
I ran 3dmark2001 and scored 6140.my old card i got 4705.

I have a Leadtek Geforce 3-Runs perfect. It has DVI-D Out and TV-Out also.
