GeForce3 Woes....

Now I've done it....
I just replaced a GeForce2MX w/a GeForce3 in the world's most stable system and now NO GL applications will work. HELP!

System specs
MSI K7T-Pro2A (bios rev 2.8 - latest)
Gainward GeForce3 PowerPack!!! - as reccomended here at Anandtech 😛 - (bios rev 3.20.00.10.00 - latest)
Athlon 1Gig (10x100 - default settings, nothin fancy)
512 meg RAM
Intel Pro100a NIC
Adaptec 2910 SCSI
Creative SB Live Value
All bios settings as recommended by GeForceFAQ.com

Win2K Server, SP2
Via 4in1 4.32 (latest)
DirectX 8.0a
SB LiveWare 3.0
Detonator 12.90

When I fire up GL apps - Tribes, Tribes2 or 3DMark 2000 - the system will promptly lock.

So far I've tried...

-"Safe" and "Optimized" BIOS defaults

-Detonator Drivers from the WHQL 12.41 drivers that shipped with it to the 12.90. I've updated drivers to the 14.20 but she still reads 12.90 so make outta that what you will.

-I've backed out ALL the PC Cards, thus eliminating IRQ conflict scenarios to the best of my ability.

-I've disconnected ALL drives (except for boot & CD ROM) thus eliminating power supply to the best of my ability.

-Re-ran all the driver installs listed above.

-Let the system sit overnight & then tried to run a GL app upon startup, thus eliminating heat.

-hell, I've even cranked up the internal voltage on the Athlon to 1.85v

Has anybody else had lockup problems w/the GeForce3 and/or know where I can go for help?

Thanx!
🙁

For one thing, 3DMark is not an OpenGL app, it's DirectX all the way. So if 3DMark is kicking you out too then it's not just a GL issue.
