hi. i currently have a visiontek geforce3 ti200 video card using the 40.72 whql-certified nvidia detonator drivers and directx9.0. going to replace it soon with an asus geforce4 ti4200 card (currently in the mail from newegg). with the whole nvidia unified detonator driver thing, can i just shutdown the computer, replace the old card with the new, turn the computer back on, and everything will be fine and dandy? or should i stop being lazy and uninstall the current drivers, reboot, set video to generic vga, shut down, swap cards, and turn comp back on?
thanks,
t
