Cool - picked up the VisionTek and an Enlight 340W power supply (I have been using a 250W for years, but that will not fly with a newer processor).
 
Asheron's Call is supposedly know longer available from mfr...according to the customer rep I spoke with about my order.

Just to make sure.. the rebate says purchases made BETWEEN 1/27/02 - 2/28/02.. so if my friend orders one today (2/28/02) would that still qualify for the rebate??

Also I'm gonna try and PM the video card to another vendor (plenty floating around for ~150) and maybe in a month it'll go down to 120 or so, and then get like $60 back, to make it $50 for the deal!!! Also, sell my gf2 pro 32mb and get me that $50 back, sell the games on fleebay for $10 each, and get PAID for this upgrade!!!
 
TechieJ, if you look at the rebate coupon (link above), it says buy by 2/28, postmark by 3/28.

So, really, the answer to your question depends on when GW invoices the order... the date on the receipt, in other words.

And on their ability to actually fulfill all of these orders by 3/28, so that you will have the UPC to submit.

I ordered yesterday afternoon late, and within minutes I received an e-mail confirmation of the order with an order number.

Today, following the procedures listed in the e-mail, I logged in and checked status for that order number. And what I see is an Order Statement, dated yesterday, showing the items ordered. This should be enough to file the rebate.

And, surprisingly, it already shows both items as SHIPPED, including the Asheron's Call game. In less than 18 hours. THAT'S service!

 
question on the PM- anyone know what AMEX policy is w/ things ordered w/ instant rebate coupon?

but wouldnt this make any of the rebate and PM deals dead?

My Geforce 3 Ti200 has been back ordered. I don't know if I can use the $50 rebate when I get it. 🙁
 
man, its evening time already and it still says validating credit card. If it doesn't get shipped ill not only be real sad but ill have to waste a half hour on calling them and canceling too. SHIP u bitch SHIP!
 
Does it matter when it ships as long as you order by today? The packing slip only has the ship date. But shouldn't the rebate be based on the purchase date? Can you request a copy of the receipt showing the 2/28 date?
