Built a system for a friend who wanted a souped up gaming system that he could play on his Sony 52" big screen (projection I'm pretty sure about). The OS is Win XP Pro. The video card is a Geforce3 TDH. Can someone tell me the optimum video settings to make this look good and READABLE on a big screen. Current settings are 800X600 32bit color with extra large font. The problem is that the font is too skinny to see. The other fonts are too small to see.
Thanks for the help

Sorry, there are no settings to make it readable on a big TV. You could try reducing the resolution to 640x480, that's closer to the "native" NTSC video resolution that TV's use.

Workin,

Thanks for the info...That is what I thought, only problem is that the resolution will only go down to 800X600. The slider in the settings area only goes that low...

get your hand on a Radeon 8500. Don't expect a Geforce card to do good tv-out

You do realize that you'll end up permanently burning the image of stationary parts of the screen onto the CRT's (projectors), right? (like the task bar, for example). If you read the TV instruction manual, it'll say that specifically. Computers should NOT be used with projection TV's...

The computer won't be on all the time...therefore I don't think we will have "burnt" in problem.
