I just installed Sisoft Sandra 2001 and it says that my AGP port is running at 1X! How can this be? I have the AGP set to 4X in the BIOS. Do you think that Sisoft is reading my BIOS wrong? See my system rig for my computer specs.

Sounds like a mobo problem. Have any other cards to test out 4x AGP?

did u enable AGP 4x on your bios setting, (I think most VIA MB has that option in Bios) and did you install the VIA 4 in 1 driver and make sure the AGP driver is in turbo mode (4x) try that and see, I should go home and check on my Geforce2, but my 3d mark 2000 score make me pretty satisify already

When you installed your Via 4-in-1 drivers, you didn't pick the turbo mode.
Most likely, you picked the other one which automatically set your agp
to 1x. Un-install it and re-install and choose Turbo mode.

also, get powerstrip, the 3.0 beta(it supports the GF3) to find out agp, and much more.

If those suggestions dont work, I thought I heard that Geforce 3s sometimes do make themselves go into AGP1x for one reason or another. I can't remember why or where I heard that but for some reason your post rang a bell...

Ok well I'm a dumbass and installed the VIA AGP drivers in "standard" mode. I went back and reinstalled them in "turbo" mode and it's running at 4X now...thanks guys.
