Ok, I posted about my problem before. When I run 3dmark2k1 in a loop it starts to drop frames hard on certain tests(vertex shader, nature and dragoth are the most noticeable). I tried a ton of different drivers but I still had the same problem. I moved the GF3 to my second PC to see if I could reproduce the same problem and I was successful. But, when I put my Geforce 2 GTS in my main PC it ran rock solid and without any trouble. To test this I was using WindowsXP Pro and Nvidia's latest drivers, 21.83. Does this prove that there may be somthing wrong with my GF3 or is there somthing wrong with 3dmark2k1? This little issue is driving me nuts because I would expect the card to be able to run in a 24 hour loop without any issues or crashes. Anyone else have this problem? Should I return the card and get a replacement? Check out "The Rig" to get my system specs. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
I decided to reformat this morning and install WinME.(I had absolutly NO problems with my GF3 and ME.)I ran all the WinME updates and installed the newest chipset drivers. I installed all of my hardware and that's it. I ran 3dmark2k1 and I'm getting the same problem. Is it safe to say that my card is the issue here?
