Geforce2 Pro vs. Geforce3 Ti200

I just went from a Geforce 2 Pro 64megger to the 3Ti200..I must say this is one sweet card! 230/515 right now and it is a lot smoother in every game I have tried..Plus the Nature demo in 3DMark 2001 is just awesome Have to say it is quite an improvement..

I have a Gainward Geforce2 Pro450. I added some ram-sinks (red) to help with the cooling. It's an awesome card for the G2 GTS/Pro serious, maybe the best, but I would compair it to a G3 ti200 for several reasons (Dx8, Chipset, ext.). Try to get your hands on a G3Ti200 with the options you want.

Please provide some more information. I have a G2 Pro and might be looking at getting a Ti200 also. Who are the manufactures of your G2 and G3ti200? What's your processor? And finally what was your highest 3dmarks with the G2 & G3Ti without Artifacts? I know, what the heck. If you don't have or feel like sharing I understand.

When you say Geforce2 Pro is that the same as a Geforce2 Ultra? I have an VisionTek Ultra and how will that compare to the Geforce3s?

G2Pro Inno3d, G3Ti200 Visiontek. Cpu = T-bird 1.3 @ 1.4 <<Wimp 3D marks G2 = 3700. 3D Marks g3Ti200 = 6971 No artifacts on either...I know I can get more out of the Ti200 though Plus being able to run the entire benchmark and demos is sweet

The G2 Pro is the same architect as the G2 Ultra except the core and memory are clocked faster (250c/230m) vs (200c/200m). The Ultra is still based on Dx7 code. That's why you see large jumps in 3D Marks 2001 when someone upgrade from a G2 to a G3 video card. 3D Marks 2001 is Dx8 based (I believe). Look at BAMAVOO's marks after upgrading his video card.
