Someone asked how well this card overclocks. Mine is perfectly happy at 260/460. Anything higher on the memory and there are artifacts.

Sorry Tigerbait, I'm not using the TV-out yet. Still searching for that HOT deal on a quality DVD drive.

To add my voice to the chorus of queries, with some extra detail: does anyone have any experience with the TV-out on this card?

Is it high quality? OR is it run of the mill, with splotchiness and pixelation or areas where there are subtle gradations of color?

I'm looking for a good card to do TV-out of DVDs AND DivX AVI files. I've tried the Voodoo3 and an ATI 3d Turbo Pro PC2TV, and both had low-quality TV-out, each suffering sometimes severely from the problem noted above.

This could be a great deal if the TV-out works WELL.

Thanks!

I had to replace my ATI Rage Fury (non-Pro) so I just ordered. I am an avid TRIBES gamer so I hope this cards cranks with Tribes2. The ATI just didn't seem to cut it with the Glide game. Epinions?

Except for the different heatsinks on the 3DPower Pro I received and the one on the Leadtek they look to be exactly the same card. At startup, my screen does show 3DPower Geforce2 GTS Pro 64MB. The 3DPower Pro at Shentech even shows the same heatsink as the Leadtek Pro so the similarities are indicating it's probably the same card with variations on the heatsink. EngineNr9 - you might want to ask Kovalen about OC'ing the AGP bus - sounds like he is doing it with this card. - Paul

Newegg looks like a trustworthy new merchant, good prices too. I think I'm gonna go buy the MSI GTS.

I too think this is a repacked Leadtek.

As for using this with an overclocked bus, so far I havent noticed anything strange from the card when I run at 150 fsb. I usually dont like to do anymore than that so you are on your own from there on.

It's STILL in stock, monday afternoon! I'm surprised that you folks haven't all depleted their stock again. It's still got free shipping! Quick, while you still can!

I've already ordered mine. I hope my wife forgives me. $200 for a $250 to $270 card is too good a deal to pass up.

As of today, Newegg changes the description of this GF2Pro card to the following:

3D Power/Inno3D Tornado GeFORCE 2 GTS PRO 64MB 5 ns DDR RAM W/TV OUT Video Card

And that's exactly the card I got from them, will post overclocking result later. Here is the link to the product specs page:
Inno3D GF2 GTS Pro Specs

Cheers!

Link to a review of this card

The author claims to be able to reach 220/480.

On a side note, here is the content of the OEM package from newegg:
The card itself
Nvidia unified driver CD
S-Video to RCA adapter
RCA video cable (single yellow)

After much tweaking, I was able to get this card up to (215/475) with no corrupted texture etc.

No special cooling techniques was applied to the card, other than I have 2 80mm fans blowing on the AGP/PCI slots. There is a slight chance for me to up the mem clock even higher (+2-3) but the core clock would not budge over 215 or textures become corrupted.

Quite incredible given that I am running on a 147Mhz bus.

However, I was not able to get AGP 4x to work. It simply corrupts windows display (safe mode and all) whenever I boot up, that's even using the regular 200/400 settings. Miscellenous settings like AGP fast write and SBA are both turned on without any complaints from games / windows.

The memory they use on this card is truly awesome.. don't miss out a good deal ;)
Cheers!

Was running the card at 260/460 no problems or corruption. Any higher on the memory and I had some fuzzies but that was about it. Even did this at 150mhz on a KK266 no problem. 4X working fine.

My case is always open, thats about the only cooling I have.

Another note on the GTS's being named PRos because of their chipset and not memory : MSI has a Geforce 815 'Pro' going for around the same price as this card around the web. It is even listed on newegg (it is the 64MB version of the MSI). This card is listed as a 815 Pro Geforce GTS Pro on the MSI website and says it features 5.3GB/s memory bandwisth. If you do the math , this is 333 memory bus which is a standard GTS. If you want to check out whether you think a company is BSing on one of these cards and can actually find a product page or specs, 5.3GB/s = standard GTS.

Actually, there was another thread about the MSI card a couple of days ago and the conclusion everyone came to is the RAM is actually 5.5 ns and runs at 366 Mhz. It still is not a TRUE Pro card, however, it's still a NICE price on an enhanced 64MB GTS.
