I have installed a GeForce2 Pro in a ASUS P3-BF mobo with PIII-800 and cannot get the board to stay alive. After 20 minutes of non-use the monitor blanks except for a blinking cursor in the upper left hand corner. I am using the NVidia Detonator drivers (latest) and installed the card properly (uninstalled the Voodoo and its drivers after setting the video to VGA). The BIOS has the Power Management functions set to OFF. It appears that the computer is truly running, but the video card has gone to sleep, because after shutting the system down and restarting Win 98 recovers just like from a power interruption, with disk scanning. The card is from Leadtek and their Technical Support is clueless. Help!

If you go to display properties, check the screen saver section. There is a check box to turn the monitor off after x minutes of inactivity. Check that.
