As far as the RAM is concerned, a heatsink is a heatsink is a heatsink. There really isn't a "good" ramsink. 2CoolTek has a MX kit that includes an HSF and RAM sinks that will fit. It's around 15-20 dollars. Maybe a little less. However, ramsinks won't really get you much more speed out of your memory. But a vid card fully modded is pretty cool. :)

well i have seen these blue ram heatsinks that have "spikes" instead of "fins" are those better because of more surface area and if so where can i get them?

Before you spend money on heatsinks for yer Ram chips:

Have you felt them when running? Are they hot? warm? case temp?

If barely warm, heatsinks prob won't help.

Also, be careful how you attach heatsinks, you could actually create a thermal barrier and heat the chips up more.

And of course, doing this voids warranty....

Save your money. Chances are the heat sinks, even if properly installed, won't allow you to go much higher, if any, to justify the cost. I've tried.

Wait a few months and get a new card.
