I have a Geforce2 MX Generic Reference card. Have an offer to trade this +30.00 cash for an Aopen PA256 Geforce2 GTS. In your opinions is it worth the performance increase?

Absolutely. I did the exact same thing and it was well worth it. The GTS has a lot more processing power than the GF2 MX.
