just switched from a geforce2 gts 32mb card by visiontek to a radeon64mb ddr card and am not pleased at all. the 2d at 1024x768 wasn't really noticeble but that might not haev been high enough to see a difference. im running a athlon 1ghz @ 1.45ghz and when i played counterstrike my geforce card was very very smooth. with the radeon i notice that it would get choppy every now and then. the only reason y i switched was mainly to get vivo and i was hoping for some gain in graphics quality. i tried the drivers included, the newest supported drivers, and unsupported drivers and no luck. should i just return my radeon for a geforce2 pro? or is there a geforce 2 gts or better that has vivo?
thanks

Ok, first of all, why would you get a Radeon 64mb when you already have a Geforce 2 GTS? Even if there was an improvement it would have been unnoticable. Furthermore, why get a Geforce 2 Pro? Sure it is faster than a GTS but not by that much.

Do you upgrade your cpu when a new one 50mhz faster comes out? It just doesn't make sense.

Anyways, how'd you get 450 mhz OC'ed, and how is the colour in counterstrike ATI compared to colour counterstrike NVIDIA GEFORCE2?

When I had an ATI, the colour was a tad better than when I saw an nvidia..and my voodoo.

i really wanted the vivo from the radeon. the upgrades came along with a computer system for a friend. we just switched around. i can still just return my radeon and get a geforce 2 pro for about 10 less because i need one anyways since my friends taking my old gts. i havent seen any but is there a gts or pro with video in? i got 450 mhz because i got a aviar stepping with zalman hs delta fan. thanks
