Geforce2 Direct3D Fillrate problem

Hey all, I just got a GF2 Pro and I'm having some problems. My fillrate in Direct3D seems to be way too low and all messed up. OpenGL works fine however. When I run 3dmark to test for fillrate it says it's about 300ish single texturing and 600ish multi. I've tried lot's of different drivers and attempted to reinstall directx. I'm using Win2k with a Duron system. I've got all the latest 4-in-1s and all that. Any help is much appreciated, thanks.

What size is your AGP aperature in BIOS? Do you have AGP 4x enabled? What cpu/bus speed are you running at? mobo? You left out some details...

🙂

Oh, did you know that you have to hack the registry to enable 4x AGP with nVidia cards and VIA chipsets?

AGP aperature is set to 64MB, 4x is enabled, 878 mhz duron with 103mhz fsb. Mobo is a KT7-RAID I've tried using geforcetweak to mess around with the AGP stuff but it doesn't seem to make any difference whatsoever. Plus, it seems like a direct3D only problem like I said. Quake3 benchmarks as expected (100fps with 1024*768, MAX).

Well man, it seems perhaps you should ignore the benchmark scores. As long as your games are playing to your satisfaction I wouldn't worry.

Do you play Q3 online? I'm a big Q3 Excessive Overkill player! 🙂

ive got the same problem, in counter strike if i use directX, the fps goes low as, and its really hard to move, every move is blurry, but in openGL i get around 60 to 70 fps, strange.
