geforce2 causes comp to crash.... help?

I have an ASUS CUSL2-C mobo with PIII 1Ghz 384mb ram and my geforce 2 MX 400 causes the compuer to freeze within 5 mins of starting up..... occasionally i get a siren system alarm when i start up..... i know the system works fine with n e other vid card and i know the vid card workss fine on n e other system.... ive run out of idea's if n e one has ne ideas lemme know and if u need more info about my system just ask.... help
