GeForce Video Problems - Screen Flashes Flickers Periodically

Myself and two of my friends all of us have GeForce cards, each different.
I just sold my Voodoo5 and bought a GeForce2 PRO,
One of my friends has a GeForce2 GTS
Another friend has a GeForce DDR

And we all have the same problems, the video will periodically flicker a distorted or messed up graphic within a blink of an eye.
It is mostly noticable sitting at the Unreal Tournament Menu Front-end screen. Kinda of looks like a tear in the graphic and it only lasts a split second.
We have tried various drivers, 6.31, 6.49, and 6.50.
None of these different versions of drivers has fixed this problem.

It sometimes also happens while I am playing Nascar4.

When I had my Voodoo5, I never saw problems like this.
Its got to be some NVidia chipset problem or driver issue.

Has anybody seen this before, is there a fix??? :disgust:

Help would greatly be appreciated!
Thanks,
Edward

I get this same thing in UT D3d, 3dmark2001 at the beginning of the truck chase scene, and all throgh MBTR

try those games/demos if you don't mind.

I'm using 6.50, BTW

did your buddies have 3dfx cards in their systems prior?

did any of you do complete formats b4 installing the gf's?

I believe I may have fixed this problem, fired UT up, looks good so far (time will tell).

I changed the following:
>Disabled Video Bios Shadowing in the Mboard Bios
>Changed Refresh Rate from Optimal to 85Hz
>Direct3D Settings - Enabled alternate depth buffering technique
>Increased D3D PCI Texture Memory Size to 63MB
>Set Vertical sync mode to: Always off
