In my desire to get GeForce MX, I've chosing between eVGA and Inno 3D. The models I'm looking at are the ones with TV out (not twin view)... eVGA comes from my local MIXPC, while INNO 3D from OCIE.COM. Can anybody help me to chose? I assume that video capabilities should be about the same, but what about TV? Any information you can share?
Thanx a lot!

I don't know much about those two.. But the Asus V7100 comes with TV out I think, and i've read nothing but good about it.

I got the Inno3D. Mine has Samsung ram too. Have mine overclocked CORE:205 RAM:200. So I'm guessing there ain't much differance based on what wonder mike said.

Thanx for the feedback!
It looks like my friendly local MIXPC playing their funny "Availability " games :disgust:. I figured that out only after I've told them, that I'm going to drive by to pick it up... Thus.... Did you get your Inno 3d from Ocie as well? It looks like they are the only company, who carries the brand.
What about TV-out is it good? For DVD playback?
Thanx again, dudes.
P.S. I'm planning to stick it in K7V/Athlon 700/SB Live! system - any surprises you've heard of I could expect there?

A socket what? System? What are you talking about?
As for Creative - first I'm not sure they'll have a TV-out for that price, second, it looks like DDR doesn't give a benifit you'd expect for faster memory on this card type. Am I right?

So you gonna' get the fanless, OEM one. Don't know how that will affect OC, but... Hey if your gonna' buy a 486 fan for it, can you pick me up a 120cm case fan? No really, I need one.

Dude, I've got one on my TNT. But.... I'm moving the TNT yo my friend's box, and I'll have to get a fan for the case too. If I'll fish more than one at my secret dump - you're in luc. S/H - is all yours, though. I'm drunk this time of the day, but I'm serious (it never hurt to ask, isn't it?) ;) Drop me yor e-mail, I'll see what I'll get.

Maverick2002,

The CL DDR MX does not give you any advantage. Most SDR MX's are clocked at 166 MHz. The CL MX DDR is clocked at 143 MHz (due to 7 ns chips).

SDR: 166 MHz x 128 bit bus = 2.6 Gbytes/sec
DDR: 143 MHz x 2 (due to DDR) x 64 bit bus = 2.2 Gbytes/sec

We all know that the memory bandwidth is what holds the MX back.

Just an update. I've got Inno 3d from OCIE. Everything went almost smooth in terms of transaction. The only glitch - the online payment didn't go through, thus I had to call them. Delivery was fast. The card (oem) was sealed. Now I'm testing the baby, but installation was a brease....
