GeForce III Problems :| Help me

I just got a Geforce III I am having real big probelms. I am only gettign 4800 3D Marks. and I only get 75 FPS in UT which is what I was getting wiht my Gefroce II MX. I have a leadtek GeForce III can someone help me get a better score and higher 3D amkrs. My system

What drivers are you using?
Do you have v-sync disabled etc...?

I have tried the stock dirvers and i couldnt even run 3D mark. I have tried several of the detonator dirver with out much change between each. How do i disable v-sync etc....???

Download NVMAX and check out this guide:

This may improve performance--or possibly degrade it. Give it a try. Were the VIA 4-in-1's installed with AGP in "Turbo" mode? Do some BIOS tweaking if you haven't already. This BIOS optimization guide is one of the best out there:

Check your drivers and make sure FSAA is disabled.

Also UT is very CPU dependent so if you were previously running the game in low res you won't notice a difference with a GF3. But feel free to crank up the details because your new card can more than manage it.
