Geforce go 5200?

Looking at a Dell inspiron 8600 and I was wondering how the go 5200 (64 meg) would do. Most graphically intensive it would get would be command and conquer, CS, and dvd movies. How well would it perform?

Are you sure? C&C Generals isn't exactly a very graphics intensive game. My X300 (non-se, 256mb) can run it full speed @ 1024x768 max settings. But then again this is the FX5200 we're talking about. worse, the goFX5200 64mb. You'll probably be able to get 30fps @ 800x600 with some graphics turned down.

yes its worst than a ti200

But I ran generals at low details 800*600 everything low my old 5200...genreally smooth but some slowdowns

I had that model before.. but at 1920x1200 it was slow as hell, i played the old cs in a 800x600 window, 1024x768 lags.. i think if i gotten the 128mb one, it would be a little faster.. I since upgraded to a d800 with 1920x1600 and g2go 5600 with 128mb instead.

that did CS really well but Doom 3 at 800x600 @ 13fps
