I have a new pny Geforce fx5200 agp with 256 mb ddr that the box says will do 1600x1200.
The max I can get is 1360x768.
PNY tech support says they will call me back. Two days ago.
The machine is running win98 se with 128 mb ram and a Pentium 3 600eb cpu.
I have tried playing with the refresh rate, changing the monitor driver to the built in flat planel at 1600x1200. It still won't get me any higher than the 1360x768 in the video properties slider.
I amusing the last nvidia drivers.
Any ideas?

Sounds like a drive issue to me because theres no reason the card itself wouldn't support that resolution.

PNY's website might explain why you are having problems. You have to have a LCD using the VGA port. Then it will do 1600x1200, otherwise if it even has an DVI port it is single link and limited to a lower resolution.

OK. Tried it and it WORKED.
Thanks again.
For those who need to know this is what it says on the link AmdInside provided:

The current NVIDIA Forceware Windows 98/Me display drivers does not feature native support for the resolutions of 1440 x 900 and 1680 x 1050. Since many newer widescreen LCD monitors have a native resolution of either 1440 x 900 or 1680 x 1050, we have created a new driver which adds support for these display modes.
