Is it true that there will be a version of the Geforce FX that will have a gigabyte of Ram?

The Geforce FX will have 256 MB DDR in May-June. But 1 gig is overboard.

Actually my teacher said that, I didn't think it was true though.

Perhaps he was referring to the clock speed of the memory on the card? It's 1000mhz which is just a bit shy of 1Ghz.
