im looking to build my own pc, i hear the 9800 gtx is a very nice card, would it be worth to dual sli it? from what ive heard dual sli isnt really used much, but i have been gone doing 6 months of combat training for the army so i dont know too much about what has been coming out and what would be good to do for me to build a new pc. I have about 1800 to spend, should i dual sli it? or just get the 1 and save myself 350 bucks lol
thx

Don't invest in SLI its not worth the extra money. If you go with SLI you will not only need to buy a second video card but also a better power supply and motherboard w/ SLI support. Invest in a good single GPU like a ATI 4850 or 4870. Unless you are using a monitor that is 24" or bigger and want to play games at ultra high rez then stay away from SLI because its not worth the money.

SLI is only worth the money if you have money to blow, or you can get a good deal on a second one later on down the road.
