GeForce 8 + Vista64 -- I want to add custom resolutions

Hi, folks

AFAIK, there is no option to add custom resolutions with my config. I want to add 1400x1050 (highest possible 4:3 res on my LCD) and 1536x897 (CPS3 games).

It seems Power Strip can't help me. How would I go about doing this with Rivatuner? BTW, I'm using 169.13 Betas cos they don't have the AA issues.

Thanks in advance!

Can't you use PowerStrip to make a custom .inf w/ new resolutions for your monitor?

There is no "official" way to add custom resolutions if that is what you are asking.

Vista x64 won't even let me change my current monitor drivers. When I try to use the drivers provided by NEC for my 20wmgx2 it says the ones Vista installed are better...

I booted into disabled driver signature mode and still no luck -- is there ANYONE out there who has some experience doing this?
Thanks

I know you can't do it with the NVIDIA drivers and Vista is more strict about custom resolutions so that is probably why it won't work under Vista x64. I decided to stick with XP for most of my needs. Got a free copy of Vista from MS a while ago so I keep that on a seperate partition in case I ever need it but so far, I hardly use it.
