How much of a difference is there in these two cards? Do you think the 7900GT CO is worth the extra $75?

Personally, I'd go with the 7900GS and save some money. It's 20 vs. 24 pixel pipelines. It'd be like comparing the 7800GT to the 7800GTX, what res. do you game at though and what games do you play?

I'm going to be buying a new monitor within the next two weeks or so (or I might end up getting it for Christmas!) so I'll be playing at 1680x1050. I play mostly Counterstrike Source, Half Life 2, etc. and I'm probably going to buy Rainbow Six: Las Vegas when I get a new video card.

For that res. go for the 7900GT.

or would a BFG Tech 7950GT OC 512MB be even better? I can get it for cheaper than the 7900GT.

Yes it would be better, but I got my 7900GT a while ago for $240, are you sure you can't find the 7900GT for cheaper than the 7950GT?
