BFG 6800 GT OC pcie for $399.

I ordered mine today, shipped and will be here tomorrow at 3:00, so just wanted to share.

Some other guy on this forum clued my in so if he has done so here, sorry.

Edit: yes pcie, hehe, the most important part.

Ooooo... slurp slurp...

Damn you know you got a problem when you start drooling over a new video card.

Oh yeah.. does anyone whether the Geforce 6800GT PCIe has full working pure video like the nv41?

NV45 is NV40 with a bridge, so no it doesn't. Hopefully they can fix this with drivers though.

Are there benchmarks for the difference between a 6800GT AGP and 6800GT PCI-e...I'm curious what the actual difference between the two is assuming all else is equal.

Or is there no difference, only the ability to combine 2 cards in SLI?

About 1-2% faster.

Chumbo.com just changed the status of the card from "IN STOCK" to "ON ORDER". I have not yet received my shipping E-Mail, just an order confirmation.

Has anyone received a shipping E-Mail?

I ordered last night about 1:00 am MST ... just got a call saying they only had 10 and I was 15. So I'm waiting until the 1st week in January. I can handle that I guess....only been waiting 4 months, another week won't kill me.

I ordered 2 of them yesturday close to 5pm EST. It still says sent to warehouse. When i ordered it was Green In-Stock, and continued at that status for several hours later. Im pretty sure i got them in time.

This is the price you pay for early adoption I'm sorry to say. AGP cards are plentiful and are only lacking in SLI support, not performance from card to card. I will just hang on to my AGP setup for another year or two. Then I can pick up any part I want (PCI-E) for peanuts.

Just got mine!

Don't expect much, it is the full retail item, just not in a full retail package. It's a simple white box with everything included.

Comes with 2 xdvi to vga and 1 x power connector and 3 game DEMOS, which sucks.

Other than that perfect condition, however I won't truly know until i get a pcie motherboard.

I ordered mine the evening of the 20th and just received it. Gotta love the free overnight shipping. Now if only I had a PCI express equipped motherboard, I'd be all set. I figure once the nForce4 boards start coming out in larger numbers, these cards are going to be hard to find.

I did have a BFG 6800 GT AGP card from Best Buy that I returned. That card had the exact same game demo disks, so you actually get exactly what's in the retail box. Actually you get an additional DVI to VGA adapter in the Chumbo box versus the retail AGP one.
