As far as I know, coolbits2.0 integrates directly into your nvidia control panel.

I think I've seen something like coolbits run externally, but I might've been ntweak, don't quite remember.

Thanks alot I got it to work.

Now the detect optimal setting thing. How reliable is that? It detected my Geforce 6800 to goto 481/800?!?!?!

Ooooh, wouldn't trust that one to be honest... tried it myself and got lots of artifacts...
You'll have to work up your way in jumps of 5MHz...

EDIT: Tell me, is it PCI-e or AGP?

I have a PCI-e one.

What brand? There are ones that even have GDDR3, while others stick with regular DDR...

EDIT: If it's the usual DDR version (which I think), then your overclock will be around 400+MHz core, and around 720+MHz memory... Your mileage may vary of course, but this should be around what you can expect... It'll already gain you a reasonable amount of frames, don't worry... 🙂

some say coolbits is too conservative, some say it;s too aggressive. all agree it's not too accurate.
