Can you use Purevideo on a non-GT 6600?
And is there shimmering on a 6600?

Believe it or not, I got it mainly because it came in a mobo/CPU combo (Asus K8N4-E Deluxe).
 
There is some shimmering on the 6 series, less so than the 7 series.

With my 6800, i set the image setting to High Quality and LOD bias to Clamp it removes all shimmering

And yes you can use Purevideo. The decoder isn't free, although there are ways of "aquiring" it. If you catch my drift
 
Oh, OK. Well, I was mainly wondering if Purevideo would work on the non-GT 6600. But, I think I read that Nvidia now included their Purevideo driver with their latest Nvidia video card driver. I guess I`ll check that out.
