so right now it looks like this to me

The x700 is outperforming the 6600on every game except Doom 3 with AA/AF turned on. Is there a x700XT?

Its so lowend I guess no one here is really interested.

I wonder though if this is better then a 4200. I'm building a rig for my wife to play and need a card that will run Sims2 decently.

Rage187 you could be right,I`m looking for a PCI Express "testing card" down the road (cheap and cheerful) and the 6200 looks like it`ll fit the bill.

Its around a 9600 so it would depend on the settings being compared to the 4200

I think the X600 seems better than the 6200, except in Doom 3.

your right, the x600 should be 3rd in the list.

plus the x300 seems about tied w/ it, although it does beat the x300se.

will your wife's new rig have pci-express? if not...no 6200 for you!

Too bad they're not releasing AGP versions, I think that's kinda stupid since MOST of the people still have AGP systems especially the budget ones, it's a decent card though, and it performs just as good as a X600Pro, maybe a little faster, and it's as fast as a 9800Pro in Doom 3!

Probably most new systems will be pci express by christmas and not many people upgrade, they just buy a new computer.

Dell and the like need all the PCIe they can get. Plus, AGP prices can be artificially maintained as long as the new cards are delayed (look at the price/performance of X700 vs 9800 etc.).

Wasn't expecting the X700 to whoop the 6600 by 1/3 in BF:V. AT went out of their way to run the tests at an unsupported and distorted aspect ratio. I wonder if one card is better than the other at handling the extra calculations to stretch the image and if would even be significant?
